At Poudrée Paris, transparency, safety, and indoor air quality are at the heart of our values.

That's why we've chosen to formulate our home fragrances (sprays and reed diffusers) without any of the controversial substances commonly found in this type of product, such as:

• DPM (dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether),
• DPG (Dipropylene glycol),
• ethyl alcohol,
• or other petrochemical solvents.

Our compositions are limited to two elements:

• CMR-free fragrances, the safety data sheets for which can be viewed on our website and/or provided upon request.
• and a base derived from 100% vegetable glycerin, known for its low impact on indoor air quality.
  

Despite this deliberately simplified formulation, certain allergens naturally present in perfumes may remain—they are harmless in normal use, but may cause skin reactions in sensitive individuals in case of direct contact with the skin.

Following an inspection by the DGCCRF (French consumer protection agency), we were informed that certain allergens naturally present in perfumes (such as limonene, linalool, and benzyl salicylate) were not yet listed on our labels.

This was an unintentional oversight due to a lack of knowledge of the labeling rules imposed by the CLP Regulation (Article 25). We immediately took the necessary steps to update the labeling of all affected products, and they are expected to be back on sale in the coming days.

• Our fragrances are not designed to be applied to the skin, but to delicately perfume your home.
• The allergens mentioned have no impact under normal conditions of use.
• We continue to work with our partner laboratories to ensure that our products are kind to your environment and your health.

Below you will find, for both products tested, the list of allergens concerned, as well as the regulatory information (CLP) that will now be added to the labels before they are put back on sale.

Topaz Perfume:

• Allergens: limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate
• Mandatory statement: EUH208:"Contains limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate. May produce an allergic reaction."
• No other regulatory disclosures required

Intense tuberose fragrance:

• Allergens to be declared: limonene, linalool, isoeugenol, benzyl salicylate
• Mandatory information: GHS07 (hazard pictogram), "Warning" label, H317 - "May cause skin allergy," EUH208 - "Contains limonene, linalool, isoeugenol, benzyl salicylate. May produce an allergic reaction," UFI code (currently being created)

We are currently conducting analyses to verify our entire range of home fragrances with regard to regulatory labeling requirements.

Due to the absence of hazard pictograms concerning the risk of skin allergies and mandatory warnings, the Stick Diffuser is subject to a product recall. If you have purchased this product, we ask that you stop using it and proceed as follows:

What should you do if you are affected?

• Contact our customer service department by email at contact@poudreeparis.com with the subject line: "Diffuser Reminder."
• Please provide your first and last name, order number, and, if possible, attach a photo of the product.
• You will quickly receive instructions for a free return, replacement, or refund, depending on your preference.

This product does not require a recall, but its labeling has been deemed incomplete. As a precaution, we have:

• Committed to updating them completely,
• Informed our customers.
