At Poudrée Paris, transparency, safety, and indoor air quality are at the heart of our values.

That's why we decided to manufacture our room fragrances (sprays and reed diffusers) without the controversial substances that are often found in such products, such as:

• DPM (Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether),
• DPG (Dipropylene Glycol),
• Ethyl alcohol,
• or other petrochemical solvents.

Our compositions are limited to two elements:

• CMR-free perfumes, the safety data sheets can be viewed on our website and/or obtained upon request.
• and a base of 100% vegetable glycerin, which is known for its low impact on indoor air quality.
  

Despite this deliberately purified formula, some allergens naturally occurring in perfumes may remain—these are harmless under normal use, but may cause skin reactions in sensitive individuals upon direct skin contact.

Following an inspection by the DGCCRF, we were informed that certain allergens naturally present in perfumes (such as limonene, linalool, and benzyl salicylate) were not yet listed on our labels.

This was an unintentional oversight due to a lack of knowledge of the labeling requirements of the CLP Regulation (Article 25). We have immediately taken the necessary steps to update the labeling of all affected products. These are expected to be available for purchase again in the coming days.

• Our perfumes are not intended for use on the skin, but to subtly fragrance your home.
• The allergens listed have no effects when used normally.
• We continue to work with our partner laboratories to ensure products that protect the environment and your health.

Below you will find a list of the relevant allergens for the two products tested, as well as the legal information (CLP) that must now be included on the labels before the products can be sold again.

Topaz Perfume:

• Allergens: Limonene, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate
• Mandatory information: EUH208: "Contains limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate. May cause allergic reactions."
• No further official information is required.

Intense Tuberose Perfume:

• Declared allergens: Limonene, Linalool, Isoeugenol, Benzyl salicylate
• Mandatory information: GHS07 (hazard pictogram), "Warning, " H317 – "May cause allergic skin reactions," EUH208 – "Contains limonene, linalool, isoeugenol, benzyl salicylate. May produce an allergic reaction," UFI code (in preparation)

We are currently conducting analyses to review our entire range of room fragrances with regard to legal labeling requirements.

Since the hazard pictograms regarding the risk of skin allergies and other required information are missing, the stick diffuser is being recalled. If you have purchased this product, please stop using it immediately and follow these steps:

What should you do if you are affected?

• Please contact our customer service department by email at contact@poudreeparis.com with the subject line: "Diffuser recall."
• Please provide your first and last name and your order number, and include a photo of the product if possible.
• You will immediately receive instructions for a free return, exchange, or refund, depending on your preference.

No recall is necessary for this product, but the labeling has been deemed incomplete. As a precautionary measure, we have taken the following steps:

• You have committed to a complete update.
• We have informed our customers.
